* - Arrived 3rd, but were penalized as they got stopped by a police officer for speeding at 117 km/hr on a 100 km/hr zone and receive a speeding ticket from a police officer in New Zealand. This did not affect their placement as this penalty will only apply at the start of Leg 6. They will now depart in 5th after the 30 minute penalty.

Newly dating pair Terence Gerchberg and Sarah Leshner is one of the 11 pairs participating in the 13th season of The Amazing Race. They hope to prove to themselves that they are made for each other during the race.
They may have been dating for a year, but the two are very different from each other. 31-year-old Sarah, an investment analyst at Wall Street with an MBA from Wharton, describes herself as being of low maintenance. 35-year-old Terence, a real estate agent who moonlights as a running coach, describes himself as witty, sensitive and driven; he’s finished the last two New York City Marathons in less than three hours.
Sarah believes, however, that their common traits—their energy, their fearlessness and their competitive nature—will bring them first to the finish line. That, despite their many weaknesses: their intensity, their dietary restrictions, and their tendency to fight each other.
