Steve "Chicken" Morris was an original member of Zhan Hu on Survivor: China. He received the dubious honor of being the first castaway voted off on his season. He was generally standoff-ish with the younger Zhan Hu tribe members and, when coupled with his advanced age and lack of physical prowess, he was the easy choice to be voted off. He received five votes.

Steve “Chicken” Morris appears as a contestant on the 15th season of the hit CBS reality television series, Survivor: China. A native of Marion, Virginia, he was born on September 2, 1959. He was raised on a commercial farm, and he has worked as a poultry farmer since he was 13 years old. He is also a proud single parent who raised his children Tyychelle, as well as his twins Jessica and Dee Ann, by himself. The family also has four dogs as pets, named Poke, Cluck, Eli, and Zek. Chicken works as their farm’s manager, where their main products are all-natural eggs and chickens. They also produce grass-fed turkey, pork and beef.
He also manages a store on his own grounds. He has had a number of previous occupations, among them logger, security officer, bouncer, and as a fish culturist for the Fish & Game Department. Apart from his work, he enjoys several hobbies, such as fishing, camping, riding all-terrain vehicles, and hunting. He has called himself someone who lives on the edge, and also says that he’s quite sociable. His favorite sport is baseball, and he also prefers bluegrass and country music. He is also a member of the Abingdon Farmers Market Board.
