Born on June 6, 1974 in London, England, Sonya Welger is an actress best known for her role on the controversial HBO series Tell Me You Love Me. Of Argentine heritage from her father's side, she studied English Literature at Christ Church, Oxford where she got a first-class degree.
Because of her Argentine heritage, she grew a love for Argentine music, and a yearly visit to Argentina with her family.
