Clark discovers that Davis is still alive and confronts Chloe about protecting him. Oliver discovers Jimmy breaking into Chloe’s apartment, but things get rapidly worse after Davis jumps from the shadows and attacks both of them.

Previously on Smallville: Chloe made the unfortunate decision to help Davis keep his psychotic, murderous secret locked away in her basement while Jimmy developed an unfortunate drug habit.Chloe‘s bedtime is interrupted by a call from Davis who is feelinguneasy, so she visits him in the basement.  Uneasy or horny?  Theanswer is the latter, because when she comes down she sees candles andflowers.  He tells her that he‘s still madly in love with her, sayingthings like "Without you, the man that I want to be doesn‘t exist."
