Sugar and Spice or Nothing Nice: The Best and Worst 'Real Housewives' in Franchise History

When The Real Housewives of Orange County premiered in 2006, it promised viewers an exclusive look into the lives of five women who lived in the affluent gated community Coto de Caza. It was such a success that a spin-off The Real Housewives of New York premiered two years later. In the last four years the show has expanded to include women from New Jersey, Atlanta, Beverly Hills, Miami and Washington D.C. (the franchise’s only dud). A total of 65 women have at one time or another put their lives on display for the whole country to see. Here are 10 of our favorite and 10 of our least favorite "housewives."
