Scott Grimes was born on July 9, 1971 in Lowell, Massachusetts. He is popularly known as Cassie Newman on the soap opera The Young and the Restless. On screen, he appeared on Party of Five, Who's the Boss and Band of Brothers. Aside from being an actor, he is also a singer. He even released a self titled album which included some covers and original songs. Aside from this, he is also the voice of Steve Smith in the hilarious animated series American Dad. Moreover, he is part of the television show ER where he plays Dr. Archie Morris.

Dr. Archie Morris is perceived to be somewhat incompetent. Whenever possible, he avoids work, and as a leader, he likes to delegate responsibilities. Later, he becomes an attending physician but is not taken seriously by most of his co-workers.
