Saving Grace: Preview of Episode 3.2 "She's a Lump"

On tonight's episode of Saving Grace - "She's a Lump" - the entire squad searches for the person who killed a court reporter, while Grace (Holly Hunter) continues to try an connect with Neely (Yaani King), despite the fragile physical state of the young drug addict.  Elsewhere, Rhetta (Laura San Giacomo) and her husband are faced with losing their farm, something very dear to them.

On the season premiere of the TNT drama last week, written by creator Nancy Miller, Grace moved closer and closer to her colleague-now-lover Ham (Kenny Johnson) and actually told him about Earl (Leon Rippy), which happen to be a big deal.  Ham was initially frustrated with Grace's lack of honesty, and the news was met with disbelief.  Later on, Grace and Ham's efforts to remove the work of Texas Longhorn-fan vandals led to embarrassing exposure, and Butch (Bailey Chase) revealed his engagement to a local TV news reporter.

No Definitive Road Map for 'Saving Grace'

Grace Hanadarko and the rest of the gang returned last night for the third season of Saving Grace and left viewers wanting more. The season opener found Grace (Holly hunter) employing Ham (Kenny Johnson) in a haphazard scheme to make contact with a young drug addict and this resulted in a shootout that left the addict critically injured while Ham was robbed of his badge and gun.

After seeing Saving Grace's season opener, fans are becoming more curious about what's in store for the rest of season 3. Producers have promised that the new season will begin to reveal a portion of what God's plan is for Grace, as well as Earl's part in it but Hunter reveals that the series doesn't have a specific direction---proving that the possibilities for this show are endless.

Saving Grace: Preview of Season 3 Premiere "We're Already Here"

The third season of TNT crime drama Saving Grace is set to air tonight with an episode called "We're Already Here."  On it, Grace (Holly Hunter) tries to reach out to Neely - the young drug addict who shares visions of Earl (Leon Rippy) - but ends up in the middle of what looks to be a plot by an anti-government group linked to the recent death of a police officer.  Things don't go the way she planned, as her unconventional methods led to an injury.  Elsewhere, Grace and Ham (Kenny Johnson) are caught in a compromising position, while Butch makes a surprise announcement.

When we left things on the sophomore season finale, Grace and Rhetta Laura San Giacomo) had the same dream where Grace is shot in a convenience store robbery.  They then trooped to the dream's real world counterpart - a local gas station - to search for clues.  Surprisingly, they indeed encountered a girl from the dream. Meanwhile, Leon's execution date was upon him on death row, while Earl tried to give him strength.

The squad jumps into action when the victims of an apparent serial killer begin turning up throughout the region.  Ham is temporarily partnered with Butch while Bobby is on an undercover assignment.  And Grace is paired with Abby Charles (special guest star Christina Ricci), a uniform cop and single mother making a rotation through the squad. Meanwhile, as Leon Cooley's execution date rapidly approaches, Earl tries to persuade Grace to find someway to help him before it's too late.

TNT recently announced that they will be renewing their highly successful series, Saving Grace for a third season, which is set to air late next year.  The show, which stars Academy-Award winner Holly Hunter in her first television series, will be returning with the second half of season two in March 2009.

The TNT drama follows Oklahoma City police detective Grace Hanadarko, a loving aunt and family person who enjoys smoking, binge drinking and having one night stands.  After accidentally running over a person, she meets Earl, who claims to be her angel and delivers the news--she is going straight to hell.  Ironically, as he disappears, her victim also disappears, leaving only a trace of blood on her shirt.  She later finds out that the victim is an inmate on death row, who also gets visits from Earl.

'Saving Grace' Embraces Online Campaign

Fandom interaction is a dish best served online, as Saving Grace execs have shown.  The dramatic second season of the series recently premiered, and that's not the only surprise for viewers.  To facilitate the fans' interest on the show, TNT has launched the Embrace Your Grace website. 

Embrace Your Grace features some of the people behind the show, like the series creator Nancy Miller.  The site greets visitors with her words, “Like all of us, Grace is on a journey. She's got one boot firmly planted in love for country, state, family and friends, and the other boot on ice so slippery the falls can't be anything but hard and painful.”
