Sarah Barrand was born on January 1, 1985 in Southport, Merseyside, England. She is best known as Shannon Lawson on the series Footballers’ Wives and its spinoff, Footballers’ Wives: Extra Time. Barrand, an avid supporter of Liverpool football team, was featured on the popular magazine FHM although she wasn’t named among its 100 Sexiest.
Shannon Lawson, played by Sarah Barrand on Footballers’ Wives, is a high-pitched, heavily-accented Liverpool lass whose former dreams involved owning a hair and beauty salon. She becomes enamored by the glitz and glamour of the high life when her then boyfriend, Harley, gets signed by Earls Park and becomes a top-flight player. As Shannon becomes accustomed to their evolving status, Harley becomes less and less interested in their newfound fame and fortune.
