She got her name when, at six months old, she was the sole survivor of a plane crash. While still an infant, she was adopted into one of Japan's wealthiest and most powerful families, where she grows up in an extravagant but extremely sheltered and protected environment.

Heaven's life gets stirred up when her traditional Japanese family arranges for her to marry the son of one of her father's business associates in San Francisco. While there, she learns that her identity is linked to an ancient prophecy. Finding herself in the middle of a battle between good and evil, she sets out to learn the way of the Samurai to take down the forces of evil.
