Sami and Lola are the daughters of actors Denise Richards and Charlie Sheen. Sami J was born on March 9, 2004, while Lola, June 1, 2005. Richards and Sheen went through a bitter and public divorce process which started in 2005, a few months before Richards gave birth to Lola.
Sami and Lola are part of the E! reality show Denise Richards: It’s Complicated. The show follows Denise as she deals with motherhood, family, romance, and even Hollywood, in light of the crazy things that happened in her life. Sheen had reservations about her two daughters appearing on a reality show so he took the case to a family court, which eventually granted Richards permission to feature the kids on the show. Appearing on The View, Richards defended her position, saying that life is hard as a single mom so it’s a way for her to work while at home, and, besides, the appearance of the girls on the show are very “minimal.”
