Born on November 5, 1976 in Whitefish Bay, Wisconsin, Sam Page is an actor best known for his role on the CBS legal drama Shark and the soap Ally My Children. Growing up in Wisconsin, Page attended the prestigious Princeton University, where he obtained a degree in ecology and evolutionary biology. His senior thesis on the mating habits of the mosquitofish was published in a science journal. All these he did while playing on the school’s baseball team. According to him, he ralized he wanted to be an actor during his senior year at Princeton. He said he came home and immediately told his mom that he’s moving to Hollywood to pursue acting.
Arriving in Los Angeles, he bagged roles on television shows such as Men, Women and Dogs, Undressed, 7th Heaven, Popular, Hang Time, and Border Town. Meanwhile, was he was in New York, he was cast on the day time soap All My Children in 2002.
Sam Page's other television series credits include lead roles on Point Pleasant, recurring roles on American Dreams, and a guest-starring appearance in the CBS series CSI: MIAMI. Among his feature film credits, meanwhile, is the lead role in Wish You Were Here. In 2006, he finally landed a starring role on the CBS TV series Shark, where he plays Casey Woodland.
In 2008, Sam Page became part of a video launched by Black Eyed Peas’ Will.i.am in support of Barack Obama’s presidential campaign. He was featured as one of People Magazine’s most eligible bachelors in 2002. Us Weekly named him as one of Daytime Drama’s Hottest Men. In an interview, he said his advice to aspiring actors is to "get into it with everything you have. Learn as much about every aspect as you can."
