Ryan Star was born on January 7, 1978 in Long Island, New York. At the age of 14, he formed his first band called Stage. Eventually, he decided to become a solo artist. His accomplishments included the release of his debut CD in stores across North America and his recognition by Billboard Magazine.

Moreover, he became part of the reality television show Rock Star: Supernova as one of the contestants. Unfortunately, he was eliminated on week 9.
