Ron Jeremy is perhaps the most well-known pornographic actor today. Born Ron Jeremy Hyatt on March 12, 1953, in New Hyde Park, New York, he was ranked number one by AVN Magazine in their “100 Top Porn Stars of All Time.” He is also on the Guinness Book of World Records for “Most appearances in Adult Films.” He made his name on the porno scene with his near 10-inch long penis and his purported ability to perform auto-fellatio, the act of giving oral sex to oneself.
Growing up, he described himself as “the middle child who was always craving universal acceptance and approval.” Few are aware that he has a bachelor's degree in education and even a master's degree in special education. He taught special education classes in New York City as a substitute teacher for regular classes.
He left teaching to pursue acting after a few years. He posed for Playgirl after his then-girlfriend sent his photo to the magazine. Moreover, Jeremy was forced to drop his last name after their house was bombarded by phone calls from girls who saw him in Playgirl and looked up his name on the phonebook.
