Rob Cesternino Biography:
Rob Cesternino was born on October 20, 1978, and was a student at the State University of New York, where he graduated with a degree in Broadcasting. He attended the said university as part of the honors program, as he scored 1420 on his SAT’s. After he participated in Survivor: Amazon, he starred in his own website show, The Rob Show, and was a writer for The Long Island Press and a stand-up comic. His previous occupations include computer projects coordinator, store clerk, waiter and bartender. He enjoys watching sports and visiting karaoke bars.
Cesternino did his senior thesis on “The Impact of Reality Television,” so it came as no surprise when he became a contestant on the reality series, Survivor: Amazon. He finished the competition in third place, and a few years later, was asked to return for the show’s special season, Survivor: All-Stars. Cesternino found himself back in the game with former tribe member,
Amber Brkich . Before the fourth tribal council, Amber told the other Chapera tribe members about Rob’s previous performance, which was characterized by underhanded scheming and questionable work ethic. Consequently, Cesternino was the fourth person to be sent home from the Pearl Islands.
