Richard is a 35-year-old chef and culinary designer born in Uniondale, New York. He worked all over the coast and trained under famous chefs like Thomas Keller, Daniel Boulud and Ferran Adria. His innovative and personal take on classical cuisine is what makes him popular. For Richard, cooking is both an art and a craft. Food is also meant to stimulate on many levels according to him. Asked on what he would be if he were a food, Richard answers he would be an artichoke. “It's tough, difficult to work with, even dangerous at its core; but when you come down to it, it's simple, beautiful and delicious," he explains. Richard is currently working for the Trail-Blais. He and his wife reside in Atlanta, Georgia and are expecting their first newborn in spring.
