Renee Alway was born on April 29, 1986 in Maui, Hawaii. She was the second runner up of America's Next Top Model, Cycle 8.
Renee tried out for Top Model when she heard about the casting that was going on in Chicago, where she got married. Before her stint on Top Model, Renee was a stay-at-home mum.
During Top Model, Renee told Tyra Banks that she has a son, Troy and whatever she is doing is for the sake of her child.
Renee's dream of being a model came true when she was called () to join the cast as a semi-finalist. Renee was a strong contestant during the show. She took a stunning shot when she was asked to pose as 'dead but having life' look. Other than that, Renee was never in the bottom two until her elimination where she shared the spot with fellow contestant, Natasha Galkina. Though the judges likened Renee's portfolio and high fashion looks, she was nevertheless eliminated for she looked too old in her photo.
Since the show, Renee has signed with NEXT Model Management and appeared in several TV shows, including Shark.
