Raoul Bova was born on August 14, 1971 in Rome, Italy. Initially, he wanted to be a professional swimmer. But when he did not qualify for the Olympics, he decided to pursue acting instead. He started doing television appearances and then later, he landed the lead role in the film Una Storia Italiana. This was immediately followed by numerous projects. Apart from acting, he takes pleasure in gardening. At present, he is part of the series What About Brian as Angelo Varzi.
