American actress and comedian Rachael Elaine Harris was born on January 12, 1968 in Worthington, Ohio. She attended Worthington High School and received a degree in theater from Otterbein College. She performed with the Los Angeles improv troupe, Groundlings and has been a member of “The Groundlings Main Company” for many years. For three years, she underwent the rigorous audition process before she landed a part in her first commercial. Since then, she has appeared on several successful films and television shows.

In 1993, Rachael Harris landed her first television job on an episode of SeaQuest DSV. This was followed by a role in Star Trek: Voyager, which enabled her to land the lead part on the Disney series Sister, Sister. She had small roles in The Week That Girl Died and the comedy The Disappearance of Kevin Johnson starring Pierce Brosnan. Harris was later seen on Grosse Pointe and on an episode of Three Sisters. In 2002, she appeared on Judging Amy and the hit series Friends. That year, she lent her voice to characters in the film Stuart Little 2, and later got a part on 2003’s Daddy Day Care, starring Eddie Murphy. She worked with the actor once again on the Disney film, The Haunted Mansion, which also features Marsha Thomason, Terence Stamp, Nathaniel Parker and Jennifer Tilly. In 2004, Harris landed a recurring role on the series Curb Your Enthusiasm and became a guest star on According to Jim. She next made her way to the big screen once again, appearing alongside Ben Stiller and Owen Wilson on Starsky & Hutch. She was also cast in the role of June on the comic action film After the Sunset, starring Pierce Brosnan, Salma Hayek, Don Cheadle and Chris Penn. After an appearance on The West Wing, Rachael Harris was given roles in 8 Simple Rules…for Dating My Teenage Daughter, Committed, and on several episodes of Fat Actress. Her next film became Kicking and Screaming with Will Ferrell. She later had a guest spot on Monk, The New Adventures of Old Christine, and recurring roles in Reno 911!, and Hollywood Residential. Harris was also seen as a reporter on the hit comedy Evan Almighty, and she joined the cast of Notes from the Underbelly. The ABC sitcom cast her as Cooper, a successful divorce attorney. In 2008, Harris appeared on an episode of CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, and worked on the film The Soloist.
