Phil Hawkins is a 22-year old freelance director from Manchester, United Kingdom, who loves movies that mess with audiences’ heads and leave their jaws hanging wide open. He hopes to make films that are entertaining and enjoyable, but will remain unforgettable after viewers leave the cinema. Hawkins is a fan of M. Night Shyamalan, Alfred Hitchcock, Michel Gondry and Steven Spielberg. His favorite films are The Truman Show, M. Night Shyamalan’s The Sixth Sense/Signs/The Village, 21 Grams, Star Wars: Return of the Jedi, Silence of the Lambs, Pulp Fiction and Panic Room among others.
Phil Hawkins is one of eighteen contenders for the $1 Million Dreamworks contract on the reality filmmaking show, On the Lot.
