Penelope Ann Miller was born on January 13, 1964 in Los Angeles, California. She emerged in film in 1987 in Adventures in Babysitting. This was followed by the movie Our Town and Awakenings which earned her a Tony award nomination. She married James Huggins in 2000 and had her first baby later that year.
