Paul Foot discovered his natural talent in comedy back when he was 16 years old. He stood in front of his math class and recited a silly poem which made all of his classmates laughed. His first shot as a stand-up comedian was in a student cellar bar in Oxford, where he stepped on the stage without any prepared material, and just ad-libbed his piece through the audiences’ answers to his silly questions. The show went great and since then, he has devoted his time trying to make a name in the world of stand-up comedy. His biggest fear as a comedian though, is killing someone with his funny antics. This actually happened to him when he said something funny to a woman friend. She laughed so hard that she stopped breathing for about 30 seconds. For Paul Foot, his biggest influence is his father, who never failed to entertain him when he was a kid. He also loves watching America’s Funniest Home Videos. As for films, he said he wasn’t much of a big fan of them because he’s having a hard time following the plots.

Paul Foot is one of the finalists of the Last Comic Standing, a reality talent show on NBC searching for the funniest and wackiest stand-up comedian in the country. The winner shall receive a contract with NBC Universal and a Bravo Special.
