Owain Yeoman is a classically trained Welsh actor who graduated from the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts in London. He was born on July 2, 1978 and holds a degree in English literature from Brasenose College, Oxford University. He has also been seen on productions of The Wizard of Oz, As You Like It and Man, Beast and Virtue. Another of his stage credits is directing and starring in Othello at the Oxford Playhouse.
Owain Yeoman later gained international fame, but couldn’t have done so if it wasn’t for his first audition. He made his breakthrough when he was immediately cast by Wolfgang Petersen for the Warner Bros. epic movie Troy. Yeoman played the role of Lysander, the Captain of the Trojan Army, alongside stars like Brad Pitt, Eric Bana, Brian Cox, Brendan Gleeson and Diane Kruger. In his native United Kingdom, Yeoman appeared briefly on the ITV drama Midsomer Murders. He was also seen in Commando Nanny in 2004, before he got the role of Steven Daedalus on the series Kitchen Confidential. He later landed a small part in Broken Lizard’s film Beerfest, as a sailor, in 2006. His next project was Traveling in Packs, a television production released the next year. Yeoman was also cast in the ABC drama series The Nine, playing the robber Lucas Dalton. He is also known for appearing in the Cullen Brothers’ pilot, The Friendlys. In 2008, Yeoman portrayed a significant villain, a T-888 model Terminator, in the series The Sarah Connor Chronicles. He followed this up with a role in Generation Kill, portraying the character Sg. Eric Kocher. Later on in his career, he starred in the drama series The Mentalist. Yeoman has also been married to Lucy Davis, known for her work in the comedy series, The Office. The two were wed at St. Paul’s Cathedral in December 9, 2006.
