Last week on MTV’s Exiled, we saw Amanda head to Kenya, where she learned quite a lot of life lessons that she took with her back home.  Now that she is safe inside her native land once again, the 18-year-old former spoiled brat shares with us some of her insights regarding her experience half way around the world.

Earlier this year, it was announced that viewers will get to see the girls of My Super Sweet 16 as they take on yet another milestone in their lives.  In fact, this little “milestone” involves having to travel to several corners of the world to experience life outside their comfort zones.  The idea of the send-off came about when MTV executive Dave Sirulnick realized how comfortable the girls were in their own little worlds.  He noted that they had unsubstantial awareness regarding their society and the world, and that this presented an opportunity for the network to give the girls an experience of a lifetime.

From the producers of My Super Sweet 16 comes a new spin-off reality series called Exiled, which follows a bunch of spoiled teens as they are slapped with a serious dose of reality.  Following their epic meltdowns that lead up to over-the-top teenage birthday bashes, these demanding divas are sent away by their fed up parents to learn the lesson of a lifetime.
