"Recruited" shines a light on two issues needing illumination. The first is the policy of "Don‘t ask, don‘t tell." The other is Alzheimer‘s disease. This week‘s NCIS treats both well. Don‘t AskDr. Walter Magnus is the wonderful, funny Bob Newhart. Magnus returns to the offices of NCIS. He was the predecessor to Dr. Donald "Ducky" Mallard (David McCallum) and is there as his guest.Recruiter Navy Petty Officer First Class Simon Craig has taken a big tumble down some high school‘s stairs. He has multiple contusions and a crushed skull. He was also trampled by someone wearing a work boot. A sliver of wood was found in Craig‘s wound.
