Of Puerto Rican descent, actress and model Nadine Velazquez was born on November 20, 1978 in Chicago, Illinois. She attended Notre Dame High School for Girls during her teens, and has earned a degree in marketing. The actress has been gracing covers and pages of several magazines. She appeared on the January 2006 cover of Stuff, and has been on Maxim’s Hot 100 list numerous times.
In 2003, Nadine Velazquez was given a role in Biker Boyz, starring Laurence Fishburne, Derek Luke, Orlando Jones, Djimon Hounsou, Kid Rock and Lisa Bonet. After getting a small role in the film Chasing Papi, Velazquez joined the cast of the series The Bold and the Beautiful. She portrayed the character Anna, appearing on six episodes of the show. She later got a role on the 2005 film Blast, starring Eddie Griffin, Vinnie Jones and Breckin Meyer. That year, another movie of hers was released, the horror film The Last Ride. She later got a small role on the HBO series Entourage, and was cast on the TV production Hollywood Vice. She was later seen on the films Sueno, House of the Dead 2, and on an episode of Las Vegas. Her next role was as Catalina Aruca on the NBC sitcom My Name Is Earl. She was originally cast as Fernando Sucre's girlfriend in the FOX series Prison Break, but decided to work on the set of My Name Is Earl instead. Despite leaving Prison Break, she can be seen on a featurette of the show’s first season DVD set. Nadine Velazquez is also known for being a judge in the Miss Universe 2008 beauty pageant. She is credited for being one of the actors in the star-studded monologue show Skirts & Flirts. Her other film credits include War with Jet Li and Jason Statham, as well as the telefilm Husband for Hire on the Oxygen network.
