Born in Norsfolk, Virginia, tenor Montr? Burton is a dancer, singer and theatre actor. His devotion to his craft has led him to become a teacher and inspiration to many new young artists. He graduated from Old Dominion University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Theatre Arts. His experiences were heightened when he attended the Florida State University/British Drama Academy in London. He worked with classical artist Norman Ayerton, former head of the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Arts and theater faculty member of The Juilliard School.
Montr? Burton moved to Los Angeles to train with Playhouse West and the Gloria Gifford University for the Performing Arts. He soon landed roles on popular television series like HBO’s Entourage and FX’s It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia. In 2007, he was cast in the romantic drama All the Days Before Tomorrow by Fran?ois Dompierre. His theatre credits include roles in Dormant at the Los Angeles Jewish Theatre, and Sleepwalk at the renowned Ford Theatre in Los Angeles. He worked with acclaimed director Jon Lawrence Rivera. Burton has also acted on several national commercials for Dominos, Snapple, McDonald’s, Chrysler, ABC and E! Entertainment. His next project was High School Musical: Get in the Picture in 2008.
