Born on July 8, 1977 in Anaheim, California, Milo Anthony Ventimiglia was a student at the El Modena High School, where he was a member of the wrestling team and was the student body president. Before he started college, Ventimiglia worked hard to earn a scholarship to the summer program of the American Conservatory Theater in San Francisco, after which he went on to study at the University of Southern California and UCLA. He was a Theatre Arts major for four years. He eventually landed a role on the sitcom The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air and from there, he continued to obtain guest roles in different television series such as CSI, Law & Order: Special Victims Unit and Boston Public. He gained immense popularity when he joined the cast of the drama series, Gilmore Girls and American Dreams. Ventimiglia also has a number of big screen projects to his name, specifically Dirty Deeds and Rocky Balboa. He was cast as Robert Balboa Jr. in the 2006 film, alongside Sylvester Stallone, Burt Young and Antonio Tarver.
Milo Ventimiglia also portrayed the character Peter Petrelli in the NBC hit television series, Heroes. His role is that of a kind and sensitive nurse whose older brother, Nathan, has taken on political aspirations as the Congressman of New York. Peter has devoted his time and energy trying to control and explore his superhuman powers, which is the ability to mimic and absorb any superhuman ability from others. In 2008, Ventimiglia was cast as Ted Grey in the horror film Pathology, which co-starred Alyssa Milano of Charmed fame. He has also co-founded an online and global social network known as Divide Pictures or The DSC (Divine Social Club) with his best friends Cundiff and Dino DeMillo. The company produces t-shirts and videos that appear online.
