San Francisco-born Michelle Merkin is an actor/producer of Swedish descent, who went to boarding school in England before taking up medicine at UCLA. She was then recruited to model for leading magazines like Elle, Marie Claire, Harper’s Bazaar and Vogue. Her print modeling jobs led to appearances in various commercials endorsing soft drinks, hair care products and electronic gadgets. She has since become a popular host for a number of television shows like Foody Call, Extreme Dodgeball, Celebrity Drive-By and Star Tomorrow.

Michelle Merkin is the host of the reality impersonation show, The Next Best Thing.
