Perusing the do!@#!@ents from Rousseau, Hurley discovers that the numbers on it are the same one he used to win the lottery. He sets out on his own to find Rousseau and she tells him that her party was initially drawn to the island by a radio transmission that was broadcasting those numbers. Later, it is revealed that the numbers are also found on the side of the hatch. A flashback shows Hurley winning the lottery, while those around him suffer impossibly bad lucks.
