Shannon and Sayid become more intimate, while Locke and Boone find a hatch and try to get into it. Boone wants to tell Shannon about the hatch but Locke drugs him not to. A flashback shows Boone trying to bribe Shannon’s boyfriend to leave her, only to find out that it was all a scam initiated by Shannon herself. The two still end up sleeping together.
