Lisa is drawn to the flavors of Asian cuisine. This 27-year-old woman knew what she wanted in life even in her younger days. From Toronto, she moved in to New York City and made up her mind that food was her passion and her career choice. At age 17, Lisa enrolled in Johnson & Wales University and graduated in foodservice management. She then went to south Florida to study more, exposing herself to Latin food and furthermore broadening her cooking skills. Missing the Asian cuisine, Lisa moved back to New York and worked for different Asian restaurants such as Asia de Cuba, Rain and Public. She takes pride in her being able to always exercise Asian flair in her dishes. Not surprisingly, her dream is to be able to open an Asian influenced restaurant based in New York in the future.
