Lindsay Liles appears as one of the contestants on the TV Guide network’s new reality show, America’s Next Producer. Born on January 8, 1983, this native of Houston, Texas presently resides in Los Angeles, California, and she studied at the University of Miami. As a producer, she loves creating stories the most, and focuses on reality TV among her numerous favorite genres. However, she also gets peeved at the lack of respect she’s gotten from other people because of her youth, and has stated that it’s tough to get crews to take her seriously. Lindsay says that aspiring producers have to work extremely hard and start from the bottom, then continuously listen to the people both above and below them in rank.
She considers both the Internet and a good shot list as her must-have production tools, and remains proud of her own project, the “Messiest House” episode for the show Clean House. She cites other such as
Grey’s Anatomy and
Project Runway as her favorites, and also enjoyed the films Babel, The Departed, and The Pursuit of Happyness. Among Lindsay’s favorite directors are Baz Luhrmann, Frank Capra and Alfred Hitchcock, while she considers Mark Burnett one of the most innovative producers today.
