Kynt Cothron and Vyxsin Fiala appear together as one of the contestant pairs in the 12th season of the Emmy Award-winning CBS competitive reality television series The Amazing Race. They hail from Louisville, KY, and they are best friends who have been dating on and off for a period of three years. Both of them also work as waiters and receptionists. The two of them are part of the goth subculture, and they devote their free time to ensuring that Louisville remains unusual with them around. In their hometown, Kynt and Vyxsin are highly active in the local social scene, regularly hosting rock shows and serving as emcees at club evening events.
It’s been said that the hardest part of the Race for them will be having to do their elaborate goth makeup everyday. For the two of them, they’ve already had their hair dyed in no less than 18 various shades, and they remain rabid devotees of fashion. Vyxsin has stated that the main difference between the two of them is that she has a far more emotional demeanor, while Kynt is relatively more composed, reserved and controlled. One of her main goals in their relationship is to get him to become more open and expressive with his feelings.
