Paul Kevin Jonas II was born on November 5, 1987 in Teaneck, New Jersey. He is the oldest of four brothers and is of Italian, Irish, German and Cherokee Indian heritage.
This curly-haired young man who often wears bandanas enjoys pole vaulting. While he was still a student, he especially enjoyed studying Latin and history. Kevin Jonas’ favorite board game is Monopoly.
He looks up to the acting skills of James Dean, Rachel McAdams and Heroes star Hayden Panettiere. In the music scene, he admires John Mayer.

In 2005, he and his brothers Joseph and Nick formed the Jonas Brothers band. To date, the group has released three Billboard chart-topping albums entitled Its About Time, Jonas Brothers and Jonas Brothers: Bonus Jonas Edition. Among their hit singles were “Mandy,” “Year 3000,” “Poor Unfortunate Souls,” “Kids of the Future” and “Hold On.” They also won Best Group at the 2008 Nickelodeon’s Kid Choice Awards.
In 2007, the group launched the Jonas Brothers Prom Tour which started in Lodi, New Jersey and ended in Columbia, South Carolina. They also opened for Miley Cyrus on her Best of Both Worlds Tour, which started in St. Louis, Missouri and ended in Albany, New York.
Paul Jonas can be seen on Disney Channel’s realty TV series Jonas Brothers: Living the Dream. The show follows the pop rock band as they travel around North America for the Look Me In The Eyes Tour. Aside from concerts, the show will also feature behind-the-scenes looks as the brothers rehearse, travel and interact with their families and friends. He also stars in the 2009 Disney Channel original series J.O.N.A.S, where the brothers play teen idols who struggle to lead "normal" lives.
