Katie Price is a British glamour model, businesswoman, and magazine columnist who was born on May 22, 1978 in East Sussex, England. Her original birth name was Katrina Alexandra Infield. She is more popularly identified in the industry as Jordan, and is married to pop singer Peter André, as well as being the mother of three children. Price is regularly written about in British tabloids and entertainment magazines that focus on celebrity gossip. She grew up in the seaside town of Brighton, and was descended from a bloodline of Jewish heritage. Price also has an older brother named Daniel and a younger sister named Sophie.
She began pursuing a career in modeling later on and had several professional photographs taken, which were sent to a modeling agency in London. One of her first jobs was as a page three girl posing topless for The Sun. However, she also decided at this time to use the name Jordan in the industry, instead of her real name. Price has since extended her career as a media personality further into various sectors of entertainment. Among her wide range of activities include having run as a political candidate, appearing on reality television, releasing a musical duets album with her husband, and publishing her own autobiography titled Being Jordan.
