Kathleen York is best known for her critically acclaimed portrayal of young Naomi Judd in the 4-hour NBC miniseries biopic, “Love Can Build a Bridge”.

York, who is known in the industry as one of best character actresses, also landed roles in the multi-awarded TV series The West Wing as the hard-nosed Congressman Andy Wyatt for 6 seasons and in the film, “Northern Lights” as the pleasantly animated lounge singer Daphne Hightower opposite opposite Diane Keaton.

York is also an accomplished songwriter and recording artist. In 2006, York earned an Oscar nomination for her song “In The Deep” in the Oscar-winning film Crash. Her songs have also been heard in House, the 2010 season of American Idol, CSI: New York, Nip/Tuck, Everwood, and a lot more.

Recently, York has been cast in Lifetime’s new original drama, The Client List alongside Jennifer Love Hewitt.
