JG (short for Jorge Gabriel) is featured as a contestant in the MTV network’s competitive reality television series Making Menudo. He is 13 years old and hails from the sunny region of Miami in Florida. JG has the distinction of being the youngest finalist in the competition, though his singing skills have been deemed impressive by the judges, and he’s well-aware of how good he is. JG has been training himself from early on and is poised to become a new Latin singing star, which may pose a problem for him as he tries to integrate himself into a potential group such as Menudo.

He is mainly defined by his leanings towards a solo act, which would not bode well for his ambition to be part of the final five. His possible band mates have already been questioning if he’s ready to be part of a group like Menudo, creating an undercurrent of tension around him. JG will have to prove that his young age and his overconfidence are traits which he can reel in, allowing him to prove himself worthy of a slot in Menudo.
