Jeffrey Nordling was born March 11, 1962 in Ridgewood, New Jersey but grew up in Washington Township. He studied at the Ramapo High School located in Franklin Lakes, Bergen County.

In 1996, he played Neil Armstrong in Apollo 11 and in 1997, he was cast as Dr. Peter Woods in the western drama True Women. His film credits include Polish Wedding, Flicka, Fear of Flying, D3: The Mighty Ducks and Home of the Brave, which also starred Samuel Jackson and Christina Ricci. Nordling was also part of the short film Hole in the Paper Sky.
Jeffrey Nordling is a member of Antaeus Classical Repertory Company and has performed in several stage plays. In 1998, he was Macduff in William Shakespeare's Hamlet shown at the Joseph Papp Public Theater in New York City. In 2005, he acted in Robert Schenkkan's Lewis and Clark Reach The Euphrates at the Mark Taper Forum in Los Angeles. He is also trained in stage combat and is a certified fight choreographer.
He is married to wife Francia Dimase and has twin daughters named Eloise and Miranda.
