Jeff Timmons is featured as one of the members of the cast in the VH1 reality television series Mission: Man Band. He was born on April 30, 1973 in Caton, Ohio. Timmons is most famous for being a founding member of the successful, multiple platinum band 98 Degrees. With 98 Degrees, they were originally signed to the Motown label in the mid-90s, producing hits such as “The Hardest Thing” and “I Do (Cherish You).” They also collaborated with Stevie Wonder for “True to Your Heart,” which was featured in the animated Disney film Mulan. For the moment he is attempting to pursue a solo career, though he does plan to reunite with his group eventually.
Timmons began his solo career by touring with Jim Brickman, and then releasing his first solo album named “Whisper That Way,” which he wrote and arranged himself. He has performed at the White House twice, and has made appearances on other shows such as The Tonight Show, The Teen Choice Awards, and MTV’s Total Request Live. However, Timmons has also been arrested and charged in the past with driving under the influence of alcohol as well as driving without a valid license. He is divorced and shares custody of his two children.
