JC Gonzalez is featured as a contestant in the MTV network’s competitive reality television series Making Menudo. He is 17 years old and hails from Bogota, Colombia. He has been described as having the attractive appearance of a typical boy band member which drives the girls wild, but he has yet to achieve a professional level of accomplishment and skill with his dancing and singing abilities. Raised in a family of Colombian heritage, he came with his kin to the United States mainly because his brother needed special medical assistance. Thus, JC claims that his main reason for desiring to be part of the final five is to help his brother and family, as well as to catch the eye of the ladies.

JC will need to focus on strengthening and improving how he sounds and moves, since his vocal skills and dancing isn’t quite on par with the others yet. In his quest to make it into Menudo, he will have to learn how to charm the judges as skillfully as he charms the girls. Some of his competitors believe that he made it into the final 15 largely on his good looks, a view which he hopes to prove wrong.
