Jason William Dohring, who was born on March 30, 1982 in Ohio, started out as a child actor appearing in commercials. He comes from a family of child actors, and he is the eldest of five children. His siblings are actually two sets of identical twins, and his two sisters were known for their performance on the series Growing Pains. His father is also known to be the former chairman of the Neopets company. Other than acting, Jason is an expert skier, as well as being fond of snowboarding, water skiing, golf and boxing.
Jason Dohring later moved on to playing a number of small roles in movies and television shows. In 1995, he appeared on the series Baywatch, following it up with the TV movie Journey. He was later seen on Deep Impact in 1998 and was in the series 100 Deeds for Eddie McDowd. He has also made appearances on Roswell , Cold Case , The Division, Judging Amy, JAG, The Parkers and Boston Public. He ventured into the big screen as well. Dohring acted on films like Walking on Water, Train Quest, Black Cadillac, and Broken Record. He later found himself working on the Disney Channel Movie Ready to Run. Jason Dohring, however, gained more fame for playing Logan Echolls on the television series Veronica Mars. For his performance, he was nominated for an Ivy award for Best Supporting Actor in a Drama Series. When the show was cancelled, he found work with Warner Bros. and CBS, taking on a role on the vampire series Moonlight. His character is that of Josef Konstatntin, the deceitful confidante of the main character. In 2008, Dohring was cast in the short romantic film Struck, which was directed by Taron Lexton. Some of the actors other credits are Wedding Daze, Once and Again, and The Deep Below in 2007.
