Jaslene was once part of the dance troupe her grandfather helped cofound, "Viva Le gente" in Chicago, as a child she would strut to the Puerto Rican Music and do various Dance Routines with other kids.

She is the first full Latina to win America's Next Top Model .

She is the second shortest winner of America's Next Top Model, second after Eva Pigford Marcelle ~(Eva the Diva)

She was the only winner of America's Next Top Model who never made an appearance, in the bottom two.

She was the twelfth name called in America's Next Top Model Cycle 8.
