Zac Posen is a designer who rocketed to fame in 2000 after he made a dress for model Naomi Campbell. While he was in high school, he interned for fashion designer Nicole Miller and participated in the pre-college program at Parsons The New School for Design. Eventually, he was mentored by curator Richard Martin at The Costume Institute of The Metropolitan Museum of Art. By the age of 18, he got into London's Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design at the University of the Arts London.
Posen established his design studio in Tribeca and has since received awards and accolades for his work. He has designed for celebrities such as Natalie Portman, Rihanna, Kate Winslet, Claire Danes, Cameron Diaz and Jennifer Lopez, just to name a few.
In 2013, Posen became one of the judges of Project Runway season 11, serving as replacement for Michael Kors.
