Born in Sydney, New South Wales in 1982, Australian actress Yvonne Strahovski was educated at University of Western Sydney's Theatre Nepean, where she graduated with a degree in arts in performance. She launched her career in Australia, appearing in various television series and films. In 2004, Strzechowski appeared in Double the Fist as Suzie, and in 2006 played Freya Lewis in Headland. In 2007, she was cast for the role of Sarah Walker on the NBC series, Chuck.
Sarah Walker of NBC’s Chuck is played by Yvonne Strahovski. Sarah is a top CIA agent who is partnered with Chuck Bartowski, a Buy More Electronics store worker turned secret agent. Once Chuck opened an email from his old friend and CIA agent Bryce, he accidentally downloaded all top secret government information into his brain, instantly making him the most important man in America and the most wanted target of assassins and terrorists alike. Sarah must be with him and protect him at all times, thus giving way for a relationship to develop, as Sarah becomes Chuck's first date in years.
