Biography

Born Marvin Young on May 10, 1967 in London, England, Young MC is a rapper famous for the song "Bust a Move" in 1989. He started rapping at an early age, drawing influences from hitmakers like Flletwood Mac, The Eagles and Bob Marley. He was educated at the University of Southern California, where he met the owners of Delicious Vinyl. They offered him a recording contract, leading him to fame. He has since established himself as an artist, releasing his debut album Stone Cold Rhymin while finishing his degree in Economics.

In later years, Young MC appeared as a contestant on Weakest Link's Rap Stars Edition and won the contest. He has also joined Celebrity Fit Club's third season and made an appearance on The Best Damn Sports Show Period.
