Originally from Gibson City, Illinois, Wisit is someone who is guided by all things beautiful. He discovered his aesthetic tastes in his studies of art history, fashion design, interior design, and even music. He was educated at the University of California at Davis, where he earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Art History. Wisit didn’t stop there, as he also took up Fashion Design from Parson’s School of Design. His personal style is described as modern classic elegance. Some of his favorite design icons are Stephanie Boudin, Billy Baldwin, Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis, Ralph Lauren, David Hicks, Oscar De La Renta and Yves Saint Laurent. Wisit is also a trained countertenor, sometimes performing the works of Handel, Mozart and Strauss. His love of nature and gracious demeanor can be attributed to his hometown, and this led him to become a self-employed designer and fashion design instructor in Los Angeles.
Wisit is one of the thirteen designers competing in the second season of Top Design. The BravoTV game show is hosted by the stylish model and designer India Hicks, who is joined by fashion designer Todd Oldham. Oldham was the previous host of the show, but will serve as mentor to the contestants of the second season. Last season’s judges, Jonathan Adler, Kelly Wearstler and Margaret Russell, will be returning. Top Design is looking for one talented designer who will demonstrate the most flair and versatility in the challenges. Wisit is vying for a $100,000 cash prize, as well as a four-page spread in Elle D?cor magazine.
