Biography

Wesley Clark is a retired general of the United States Army. With a degree in Philosophy, Politics and Economics from University of Oxford, as well as a master's degree in military science from Command and General Staff College, he spent more than 30 years in the Army and the Department of Defense where he earned numerous military decorations, honorary knighthoods, and a Presidential Medal of Freedom.

After retiring from the military, Clark starred a
public speaking tour and approached several former government officials for advice on work. He published two books including Waging Modern War and Winning Modern Wars.

In 2003, Clark announced his candidacy for the Democratic presidential primary elections from Little Rock but later withdrew from the race.

In 2012, Clark joined NBC's competitive reality series Stars Earn Stripes as the host.
