Vanessa Riley hails from Houston, Texas. She was a contestant in the first season reality TV series "Project Runway". She was unfortunately eliminated during the fourth episode, wherein the designers were split into teams of three and were told to create a garment for rockstar Sarah Hudson. Despite not making it to the finals, Riley has had lots of success with her own retail store. She also designs bags and jewelry, and is working on a couture business.
