Survivor: Vanuatu (Season 9)- runner-up
Twila Tanner Biography:
Born on October 12, 1962 in Osceola, Iowa, Twila Tanner relocated to Missouri when she was eleven years old. She was a student of Marshall High School, and is a highway repairwoman for the Missouri Department of Transportation. Her other occupations include offering custodial services to Marshall Public Schools and operating heavy equipment for Brown Construction. One of Tanner’s greatest accomplishments is bringing up her son, James, on her own. Some of her interests include riding motorcycles and horseback riding.
Tanner joined Survivor: Vanuatu because she wanted to experience different challenges, and, of course, win one million dollars in the process. A hardworking and intelligent individual, Tanner was able to make it all the way to the Final 2 with fellow Alinta tribe member, Chris
. However, because of her past actions (she betrayed her alliances with both the male and female groups) and her argument with juror, Eliza
, during the final tribal council, the results of the votes were in favor of Chris.
