Trista Rehn and Louis van Amstel
Trista Rehn Sutter Biography:
Trista Rehn Sutter was born on October 28, 1972 in Indianapolis, Indiana. She became somewhat of a celebrity when she participated in the modern-day matchmaking reality shows, The Bachelor and The Bachelorette. Before she went on to meet her one true love through a televised courtship, Rehn was a student of Parkway Central High School in Chesterfield, Missouri, afterwhich she pursued her tertiary education at Indiana University and the University of Miami, where she obtained a degree in physical therapy. As a resident of Miami, she worked two jobs, one as a physical therapist and the other as a dancer for Miami Heat. In 2003, her marriage to winning bachelor, Ryan Sutter, was televised by ABC, and two years later, she was invited to join the first season of the network’s hit reality series, Dancing with the Stars. Her other television appearances include Fear Factor, a KFC commercial with actor Jason Alexander and Brad Paisley’s “Celebrity” music video.
On the show, Rehn-Sutter was paired with award-winning dancer Louis van Amstel. Unfortunately, Rehn-Sutter didn’t get to show off much of her dancing skills, as she and her dance partner were the very first couple to be voted off the competition.
